I had 10/11 no internet all from memory had The album of the one question and m=my mum had the album of another question (won’t give it a way) quite proud of my answers
I was to young for this quiz but it was still fun to guess and I got the 80s ones right
9/11 I got the last one correct though
Really enjoyed it, it brought back a lot of memories. By the way I got all eleven.
It wouldn’t work on my phone, so I found myself in the sweet shop, and nearly forty quid later…….lol.
Got 10/11 rushed the last question
I got all 11 right. I wasn’t sure if the answer to the last question was correct as I had to toss a coin
I got 8 out of 10, I didn’t think that was to bad considering I hadn’t ever seen any of them before.
10/11 and remembered the lyrics 😝
Great quiz, showing my age. 11/11 and none more than 10 seconds to answer…sad.
That was fun and brought back lots of good memories
I did like the “countdown”. My partner thought I’d been at the Christmas spirit early as I kept saying out loud that I’d only got so many seconds left (he didn’t know I was doing this) but I got ’em all right. Wow! Big fat cake to celebrate I think.
Brilliant quiz, as always, you are marvellous!!!!
10/11, kicking myself on the wrong answer. Great quiz 👍
9 out of 11 znot bad for a millennial from 1982.
9/11 not to bad x
Woo hoo, go me. Top of the cops, 11 out of 11
All correct. I clearly spent far too much time in front of the Box. But in those days there was actually something good to watch.
Loved this quiz, one wrong but I did ok. 😊
100 % not a great TV genius just very old!
11/11 im just a telly addict..lol
9/11 for a forty-something year old, not bad considering I watched none of them!
Whoop whoop 11/11.
I even got the name of the Telly Savalas number 1 😁 (my Dad had the record)
I loved the cop shows back then, my Dad used to let me watch them, I also remember Softly Softly and Barlow.
Nostalgic, thank you x
10 out of 11. Failed on the last question 🙁
11/11. Easy – even the ‘stinker’. Good quiz though.
Good quiz and like the timer!
Stoopid but fun! 😊
Nostalgia s addictive Like remembering falling in love with a brand new Vespa GS silver scooter and Wilco mints those where the days my friend !
Didn’t Dennis Waterman also have a hit single. In 70s?!!
Yes, I could be so good for you, from Minder. But he wasn’t playing a policeman in that series, and the question mentioned a copper.
Yes, but it only reached #3, around October 1980.
yes but it wasnt number 1. I could be so good for you 🙂
It was the 80’s for Dennis, he wrote it and sang it 😁
My mistake (but not far out) October 1980…
11/11 I have wasted my life
Far from it… that’s valuable information you have stored there!
Very happy to get them all correct. Memory still ok
Picked the wrong David(premature answering)….got ten😁👍….Who loves ya baby?!😁👍😁
Dixon of Dock Green, standing under that light & saying “Evening All” takes me back to my Grandparents. ❤️
Loved it more please
Wow 11/11 that was a blast from the past
Oh crumbs – I knew the last one but didn’t read it properly – what a plonker am I?? As for the song – sorry but I loved it, didn’t buy it but couldn’t help singing (well sort of singing) along with it.
Too easy lol lol
11/11 Not as dumb as some people think.
Woo hoo! All right, come on Michael that was far too easy😂
11/11 watched all these shows in my younger years.
I put Dennis Waterman. I think he did have a hit?
Very good quiz though. Well done.
Loved this one, the 70’s are my time period and I only got one wrong (11)!
Brilliant quiz, brings back memories !
THIS was a much better layout!
You’ve nailed it…
Looking forward to the next one.
Pleasantly arresting. A sweetshop quiz that didn’t jar! Top of the confectionery cops.
11/11. Very pleased with myself!
Got the lot – and very quickly too – I’m just a smarty pants nahnahnahnahnahhhh!!!!
11/11. Chuffed! Loved all these programmes, even had a Starksy cardigan😄 Thanks for the work you put into these.
The first TV show I saw John Thaw in was called “Redcap” he portayed Sergeant John Mann, a member of the Special Investigation Branch of the Royal Military Police and ran for two series and 26 episodes between 1964 and 1966. Wikipedia.
11/11 – Some great questions again!
Love the added tension of the timer counting down! 🤓
Yay 11/11. Not too tricky 😄
Great quiz and of course great TV shows, 11/11 for me you’re going to have to up the difficulty!
fun! Now can you do us a music quiz for the same era?
This quiz took me back. I used love those programmes. They knew how to make them in those days.
Caught me out with that one too.
Excellent quiz, thanks as ever.
YAY! 11 out of 11 – I know – big head.
Did the quiz, got the questions all correct, really surprised myself!!
100% scored – great quiz – brought back memories of my childhood in the 70’s.
11/11 – all of the old re-runs help!!
Great quiz. 11/11. God I’m old!!!
entertaining quiz , how about seeing if you can set it up to record how quickly you can answer all questions ! OK , I’m an oldie . so got all 11 .
I knew as soon as I pressed the Answer button it was wrong on the last 2
Damn 10 0ut of 11 was not sure about the Leslie Nielsen question had two answers pressed the wrong button doh!
Well blow me! A full house and in time too. Signs of watching too much telly. Thanks again for a great quiz. When I start to struggle it won’t be so good then! (kidding – keep it up!)
Easy peasy! 😬
11/11 really need to watch some of them again.
A full house – woohoo – and in no time at all. Just loving these quizzes.
Only got 10/11, but I did get number 11 right. (No, I didn’t buy it. I wasn’t that sad!)
i thought it was jack lord ,i know telly had some hit with a song called if
11/11 I guess it might be an age thing! Love these quizzes, TV and 60’s and 70’s music.
Well I got 11/11. I did watch more TV that my parents aloud along with probably more sweets!!
I’m sure Dennis Waterman also had a bigger single in the 70’s. I remember watching Dixon of Dock Green every Saturday night at my nan’s. Brilliant!
11/11 – too old and sad!!
Love these little gems. Got 2 wrong, but really enjoyed it 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Woo hoo 11/11 🤗
Brilliant cop quiz- even made my husband smile when he got all right. Hahaha!
Great quiz. Auf wiedersehen pet next ?
11 out of 11.
Can I correct a comment YOU made? Whilst Columbo’s wife was never seen in “Columbo ” there actually was a series called “Mrs Columbo” starring Kate Mulgrew.
I got 2!!!!
I fell for the Dennis Waterman hit too
What a blast from the past!! I was amazed that my brain still held all this info, 11/11 amazed myself. Haha.
Yup got the last one wrong 😤😊
Great quiz , I did really well too , thanks
That made me feel a little old as I got them all right(don’t want to brag). I will brag about not having to use new fangled gadgets and just relied on the old grey matter. Thanks for that quiz – more please.
Excellent nostalgic memories
Also achieved 11/11. Recalled Telly Savalas had managed a Nr 1 with either “If” or “She”, then remembered “She” was by Charles Hasnovoyce. Being a Prog Rock fan wasn’t really my cup of tea!
Great way to start a miserable cold wet Friday!
Great Quiz! Love them.
Got them all must be my age
Loved doing this, bringing all those memories back. Didn’t do too bad 10/11. It was the last one that got me. I too thought it was Dennis Waterman.
Ha ha! I got all eleven!
Great quiz, could have kicked myself on The Sweeney question,
Great fun, and I knew the answer to #11 but didn’t scroll down far enough. Doh !
Brilliant quiz and marverlous blogs. keep it up and merry christmas
